Sean Michael Casey is a bass teacher in Western Washington, offering lessons to students of all ages and experience in south Tacoma. Sean is also the Adjunct Assistant Professor of Double Bass at Pierce College in Puyallup, WA, and a substitute bassist with Symphony Tacoma, the Auburn Symphony Orchestra, and the Yakima Symphony Orchestra. In 2024, Sean published A Progressive Guide to Orchestral Excerpts for Double Bass, Volume 1, and will chair the inaugural ISB Youth Orchestral Competition in the summer of 2025.
