Sean Michael Casey is a bass teacher in the greater Seattle-Tacoma region, offering lessons to students of all ages and experience from the Frederickson area. After ten years teaching in Texas, Mr. Casey and his wife relocated to Washington state in 2024 to be nearer family. Mr. Casey is the author of A Progressive Guide to Orchestral Excerpts for Double Bass, Volume 1, chair of the inaugural ISB Youth Orchestral Competition in the summer of 2025, and a substitute bassist with Symphony Tacoma and the Yakima Symphony Orchestra.
